Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy course preferred.
• Must have computer skills and ability to perform data entry.
• Knowledge of venipuncture procedures and patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical phlebotomy assignments and processes specimens.
• Accession and distribute specimens; resolve basic issues as they arise.
• Adapts communication to the patient population and ensures privacy and respect.
• Supports lab goals and may perform related duties as required.
