Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Chagrin Falls, OH is seeking a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and support patient testing processes. Position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with rotational weekends. Minimum pay starts at $20.00+ per hour with potential annual bonus consideration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory and sanitizing.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
