Qualifications

• Some experience or training in phlebotomy or laboratory science is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures according to procedures.
• Label and prepare specimens for testing or transport.
• Complete requisitions and manage specimen receipt using computer systems.
• Deliver specimens to testing areas.
• Maintain equipment and assist with problem-solving related to patient draws and orders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
• Conduct inventory checks and train new employees.
