Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Padre Island (Corpus Christi, TX) is looking for a part-time phlebotomist to join our frontline patient-care team.

You will provide courteous service, perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, and collect/prepare non-blood specimens in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role includes proper specimen handling, labeling, and test ordering, with a focus on safety, compliance, and quality control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred phlebotomy training or certification.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

This opportunity is

• Location: Padre Island (Corpus Christi TX)
• Status: Part-time
• Days:Monday-Friday
• Hours:8:00 am-12 pm

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you've got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
