Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist/Registration to join a team delivering high-quality patient care in a busy hospital setting.

The role involves specimen collection, registration and processing for in-hospital and off-site locations, with early start options and weekend rotation. Prior phlebotomy experience and ASCP certification preferred; on-site training provided.

Qualificações

• Six months Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
• If interested in 1st shift, must be able to work as early as 4 am.
• Most of our positions are four hour shifts so must be willing to work four hour shifts M-F and every third weekend.
• Availability to train 1st shift M-F, full time hours for 6 weeks.
• ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (must obtain certification within one year of hire) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Phlebotomist/Registration: Working in a single assigned work area, provides specimen collection, registration and processing services to patients in the main hospital, outpatient lab draw stations, and mental health and skilled nursing facilities at off-site locations and clinics.
• Main Hospital Inpatient Phlebotomist At the main hospital servicing inpatients, processing and registration of samples received from physician offices for testing.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• 50% of the work is done on a computer- orders, registration, data entry, etc.
• Ability to type 40 words per minute.
• ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (must obtain certification within one year of hire) preferred.

Phlebotomist/Registration: Working in a single assigned work area, provides specimen collection, registration and processing services to patients in the main hospital, outpatient lab draw stations, and mental health and skilled nursing facilities at off-site locations and clinics. High volume work, 50% of duties involve computer utilization with targets to meet. Provides clerical support to the Pathology Department and other duties as assigned.
