Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Phlebotomist Level I, OP to perform venipuncture across neonatal to geriatric patients and to service all age groups with a focus on specimen integrity. The role supports the Laboratory department (207010) and operates in First Shift from the United States of America location.

As an entry-level position, it requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification; training and career ladders are available for advancement.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association.
  • Entry Level; New Hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures for neonatal to geriatric patients.
  • Ensure specimen integrity and proper labeling.
  • Provide professional patient interaction and education as needed.
