Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Washington, seeks a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient care.

This role ensures accurate specimen collection, testing, and documentation while upholding CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards. Starting wage is $21.30/hour; schedule is Monday–Friday; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Active WA State MA-P (Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist) certification required.
• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
• Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must pass pre-hire competency test.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling
• Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation
• Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs
• Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA
• Communicate results and coordinate with providers and clinical staff

Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) – Lab Services

Sea Mar is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform phlebotomy, waived lab tests, automated CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures accurate specimen collection, testing, documentation, and strong patient care.
