Parachute, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for its Mobile Unit in Bay City, TX. The role involves venipuncture for plasmapheresis and delivering exceptional donor service on a 44-foot mobile center.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in customer service and/or as a Phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate the mobile plasma center (44-foot trailer towed by a F550).
• Provide world-class donor service and education throughout donation.
• Identify donor reactions and monitor collection devices.
• Assess donor suitability for plasmapheresis prior to venipuncture.
• Manage donor floor activities including setup, venipuncture, documentation, and calibrations.

What You’ll Do

As the Phlebotomist for the Mobile Unit, you will be responsible for performing venipuncture for plasmapheresis and providing world-class quality service to donors. This role is critical to Parachute’s donor-centric mission, and an opportunity to be a part of an agile, passionate, and fast-growing team.

Compensation: Starting at $23.50/hour with monthly bonus potential and benefits

Required: Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate our cutting-edge mobile plasma center, ensuring compliance with vehicle operation requirements. It is a 44-foot-long trailer towed by a F550.
• Provide exceptional customer service. This includes engaging, educating, and attending to the donors throughout the donation process, highlighting the positive impact of the donation, and assisting the Management and Quality team.
• Identify donor reactions and monitor collection devices.
• Assist in determining the suitability of donors to undergo plasmapheresis prior to venipuncture.
• Own all activities on the donor floor including donor setup, disconnect, phlebotomy, documentation of procedures, donor reactions, and all calibrations.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is a plus
• Possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Graduation from high school with a diploma or acquired an equivalent GED. Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certificate is a plus
• Two (2) years of experience in customer service and/or as a Phlebotomist. Related experience in the medical field is a plus
• Physical: Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods of time
