Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist in Mansfield, OH. You will perform venipuncture, collect and prepare specimens, and ensure accurate labeling and test orders while upholding safety and HIPAA standards. This role supports patient care and requires excellent communication and data-entry skills.

The position is 20 hours per week on a first shift. Training and a supportive team environment are provided to advance your career in a leading clinical laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy training or relevant experience required.
• Strong communication and data entry skills.
• PHI handling training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

Location: Mansfield, OH

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (20 hours per week) Part-time: Not Benefits Eligible

This opportunity is (full-time, part-time, PRN) during (first, second, third) shift.

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
