Job summary

Required: active Phlebotomy Certification, current BLS, a U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients.
• Collect, process, label, and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Ensure accurate patient and specimen identification.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and QC records.
• Identify and resolve collection or processing issues.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
• Deliver professional, patient-centered care and support quality initiatives.
