Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II for per diem shifts at Glenbrook Hospital. You will perform routine and special phlebotomy procedures and manage test orders and specimen documentation. The role requires adherence to age-appropriate collection and accurate tube usage.

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy training and CPR-BLS certification, with strong communication and customer service skills. Per diem hours include early mornings, afternoons, and rotating weekends/holidays across sites.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
  • CPR-BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required.
  • Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Supervisor/Manager/Director.
  • Order tests into Laboratory systems and document receipt of specimens.
  • Collect patient specimens appropriate for age and patient population served.
  • Collect blood samples ensuring proper volume and correct tubes.
