Baptist Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II for full-time 2nd shift in Elizabethtown, KY. You will collect blood samples, perform venipuncture, and work closely with nurses and lab staff to ensure accurate results while providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, following aseptic procedures, and maintaining communication with team members to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Requires a high school diploma; phlebotomy experience and training are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Formal phlebotomy training program preferred.

Summary

Job Description:

Phlebotomist II

Full-Time, 2nd Shift (12:30p-9:00p)

*Must be able to work every other weekend, and rotating holiday schedule

Collect blood samples from patients for medical testing, transfusions, research, or blood donations. Work closely with patients, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection while maintaining a high standard of patient care and safety.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy training program preferred.
