Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Monument, CO. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays. Pay range is $23.20 - $24.90 per hour, with potential annual bonus based on performance.

Three years of phlebotomy experience and strong data entry skills are required. High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA). Excellent communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information, collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparation for transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training courses timely.
