Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for our Weatherford, TX location. The role focuses on drawing blood, preparing specimens, and maintaining accurate documentation while delivering compassionate patient care.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3 years phlebotomy experience, and preferred phlebotomy certification. Prior patient service center experience and data entry skills are also desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients and create a trusting atmosphere.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients clearly and perform venipuncture safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while prioritizing process excellence and confidentiality.
• Maintain records and documentation and perform daily tasks accurately under supervision.

Job description

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist II for their Weatherford, TX location.

Responsibilities

• The Phlebotomist II represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The Phlebotomist II draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist II has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The Phlebotomist II will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
