Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist II for onsite, multi-location coverage in Springfield, MO. The role starts 8/17/2026 and runs for 2+ months, with shifts 8a-4:30p Monday to Friday CST. Travel to patient service centers and facilities is required.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and a high school diploma. Certification is preferred; strong customer service and independent work ethic are essential.

  • Flexible schedule; weekends/holidays/overtime and travel.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license; travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures at Patient Service Centers / in-office locations.
  • Prioritize patient safety and specimen handling with high accuracy.
  • Deliver strong customer service and communicate openly with staff and patients.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, dress code, and safety guidelines.
  • Cover shifts at multiple locations as staffing needs arise.

Job Description
  • Job: Phlebotomist II
  • Duration: 2+ months
  • Shift:8a-4:30p M-F CST
  • Location:Springfield, MO 65807

Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
  • Committed to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
  • Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
  • Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
  • 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
