Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 4-month assignment in Orlando, FL. The role requires high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting and the ability to travel between Patient Service Center and in-office locations with minimal notice.

Requirements include 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (pediatric and geriatric), HS diploma, and preferred phlebotomy certification. Weekend availability and reliable transportation are required.

  • Communicate openly with patients and staff, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, dress code, and safety guidelines.
  • Travel to different sites and cover shifts with minimal notice.

Job: Phlebotomist II
Duration: 4 Months
Shift: Sun -630-1030a Mon, Thursday, Fri 630a - 130p, Sat 630- 1230p
Location: Orlando, FL 32803

Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
Job Requirements:

Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
Committed to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.
Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience:

1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.

Additional Job Details:

Should be within 20-25 MINUTES TO SITE
The rate is based on years of DIRECT PHLEBOTOMY EXPERIENCE as listed in resume. Overlapping roles do not count twice.
If your candidate is currently a student, please ensure that your candidate's school schedule will NOT conflict with shift schedule.
Candidate must have their own reliable transportation to get to/from worksite without issue (Being dropped off by bus, Uber, rideshare is not reliable transportation).
Must be available to work whenever scheduled, BE ON TIME, and stay for the entire shift.
Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and will be cause for termination
