Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking a phlebotomist to join our frontline laboratory operations team. The role emphasizes patient-centered service, accurate specimen collection, and timely processing in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, collect and prepare non-blood specimens, and ensure proper labeling and test ordering while maintaining PHI safeguards and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and data-entry skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Deliver, Pick-up Specimens and Supplies
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you've got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
