Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II at Evanston Hospital. You will perform routine and specialized phlebotomy, collect specimens, and ensure proper tube use and volumes for tests in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires CPR-BLS certification, phlebotomy training, and clear communication. This position is full-time with rotating holidays and weekday hours, located in Evanston.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required from the AHA and ASCP certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy training/experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special phlebotomy procedures as directed by supervisors.
• Order tests into Lab and Hospital computer systems and document receipt of specimens.
• Collect patient specimens appropriate for age and population served.
• Ensure correct tubes and adequate blood volumes for tests.
