Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our healthcare team. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

You will work first shift (8:00am-5:00pm) at $25 per hour on a contingent basis with a potential pathway to hire. Requires 3+ years phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma, plus strong customer service skills across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric specimen collections following established procedures
• Prepare, process, label, and maintain specimens for laboratory testing
• Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate specimen labeling and documentation
• Provide professional, compassionate service while building trust and confidence with patients
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties
• Support multiple patient service locations as business needs require

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Strong specimen collection, processing, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Keyboard/data entry experience
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, and overtime as needed
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
