Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Euclid, OH. The role involves collecting specimens on a schedule (Tue/Thu 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and weekends 7:00 AM–12:00 PM), with a minimum pay range of $20.00+ per hour.

The position emphasizes accurate data entry, adherence to procedures, and teamwork within a lab setting. Required high school diploma; phlebotomy certification is preferred and may be required in certain states; one year of phlebotomy experience and strong customer service skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• The position requires English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID and enter billing information, collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Handle non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies.
