Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Phlebotomist I in Bedford, OH (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–12:30 PM) with rotating weekends. Collect specimens, prepare them for transport, and support billing with accurate data entry. Requires high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred and English communication essential.

Part-time schedule and benefits eligible. Performance bonuses may be offered. This role focuses on precision, compliance, and patient service.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy proficiency and patient handling.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to document and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders and patient data using lab systems.
• Enter data accurately using a computer.
• Collect payments when required per policy.
• Label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze and prepare specimens for transport.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
