Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client's healthcare facility in Cape Coral, FL. Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Location: Cape Coral, 33904. Local contract position with pay range of $17.00 to $17.75 per hour.

The role involves phlebotomy, specimen processing, and patient registration, with emphasis on accuracy, quality, and customer service. Requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience; 1+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months' phlebotomy experience required.
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections and prepare specimens for testing.
• Verify patient information, ensure accurate specimen labeling, and maintain documentation.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care while explaining collection procedures.
• Process clinical and forensic specimens following established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
