Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Lubbock, TX (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). The role involves collecting specimens, performing sample processing, and using lab systems to verify orders, with emphasis on accurate data entry and customer interaction.

Salary starts at $20.00+ per hour, with eligibility for annual incentive plans; benefits and 401(k) options are offered. Prior phlebotomy experience is preferred but not required for all applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Navigate lab technology systems and verify orders.
• Enter data accurately and maintain records.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
