Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Contract Phlebotomist to join our Lexington, KY lab team. You will perform venipuncture, label specimens, and ensure proper handling from collection to transport, while maintaining patient courtesy and accuracy.

This onsite role requires a valid Phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, and a High School Diploma or GED. The position offers $18–$21 per hour with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, label, centrifuge and package specimens.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate results to patients clearly.
• Adhere to OSHA/ DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
