Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist I for their Plymouth, MN location. The role involves collecting quality blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, and communicating procedures in a reassuring, professional manner.

Under supervision, you will maintain accurate records, uphold safety standards, and assist with processing duties. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, phlebotomy training/certification, and at least six months of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
• Required: MMR, Varicella, Tdap and TB Test

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients, explaining procedures and drawing blood.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Creates a trusting, accurate, and safe patient experience during specimen collection.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains records and documentation; performs duties accurately and on time under supervision.

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist I for their Plymouth, MN location.

Responsibilities:

• The Phlebotomist I represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The Phlebotomist I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The Phlebotomist I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
