Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections using straight and butterfly needles.
  • Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Draw up to 30-40 blood samples per day while maintaining patient comfort.
  • Register patients and accurately enter demographics into the system.
  • Label, process, package, and prepare specimens per lab procedures.
  • Maintain documentation and comply with quality and safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
  • Work independently in a client office setting and travel as needed.

Training location: Day 1: Report to 5901 Northwoods Business Pkwy Charlotte, NC 28269

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 12:30pm

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist I to join a client office in Kannapolis, NC. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, performing venipuncture on geriatric and hard-stick patients, and traveling to nearby locations as needed for coverage.

  • Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Work independently in a client office setting.
  • Travel to surrounding locations when additional coverage is needed.
  • Follow all laboratory safety, infection control, and quality assurance guidelines.
Required Qualifications

Preferred Skills:
  • Infants, Peds, and geriatric experience
  • Previous hospital or IOP experience
