Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare in Herrin, IL, is seeking a phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. You will collect venous and capillary specimens, register patients and specimens, and label samples according to policy, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include transporting specimens to the lab, maintaining clean and stocked phlebotomy stations, and assisting with outpatient and inpatient needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 6 months specialized phlebotomy training preferred.
• Experience with venipuncture and specimen labeling preferred.
