Job summary

Our Client, a Medical Research company, seeks a Phlebotomist I for the Grandview Heights, OH location. You will draw blood, prep specimens and explain procedures to patients with care and professionalism.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy, and leadership behaviors under supervision, ensuring timely, compliant daily operations in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients during health routine visits or health insights discussions.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing per established procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and perform blood draws safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Under supervision, perform daily activities on time and maintain a safe, professional environment.

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist I for their Grandview Heights OH location.

Responsibilities:

• The Phlebotomist I represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The Phlebotomist I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The Phlebotomist I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience needed.
