Quest Diagnostics in Beverly Hills, FL is hiring a Phlebotomist I for a Tuesday–Saturday shift from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay starts at $20.00+ per hour with eligibility for performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits from day one for full-time staff.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, lab order verification using systems, data entry, and performing non-patient duties such as inventory and sanitizing. Requires high school diploma; phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required or better.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred where allowed.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens per procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems & client data.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing info and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport as ordered.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Follow departmental policies and maintain logs and statistics.
• Complete trainings online and in person timely.

Pay range: $20.00+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures. This includes, but not limited to: drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders by utilizing lab technology systems, Client contact, and approved tools.
• Ability to navigate a computer and accurately enter data is a requirement to be successful in this role.
• Obtain identification and accurately enter billing information and collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
• Processing specimens including: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport as required by test order.
• Perform all non-patient facing duties, including inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones and utilizing email as appropriate.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required.
• Maintain all appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner and based on frequency, such as maintenance logs and temperature logs.
• Complete online and in person training courses timely.

Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience

• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
