Vitruvian Health in Tennessee is seeking a Phlebotomist to support our Administrative Laboratory team. You will collect specimens across hospital units, ensuring correct patient identification and proper labeling, with emphasis on accuracy and care.

The role includes clerical duties such as faxing, phone coverage, pneumatic tube use, and ordering reference labs, while upholding confidentiality and patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or validation of higher level education.
• Diploma or transcripts are required upon hire.
• 2 years of hospital phlebotomy experience preferred; certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures for all patient ages.
• Obtain specimens following proper patient ID procedures.
• Label specimens with patient name, DOB, date, time, and phlebotomist initials.
• Handle clerical duties: faxing, answering phones, pneumatic tube system, and reference lab orders.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and collaborate with lab technicians and outside labs.
