CHRISTUS Health in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, receiving, and referrals. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain clean work areas, and support efficient lab operations.

The role requires a High School diploma (phlebotomy-related program preferred), and bilingual English/Spanish is advantageous. Prior phlebotomy experience and CPT/PBT certification are preferred where applicable.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy; Medical Laboratory; or Medical Assistant program that includes phlebotomy preferred.

• Prepares specimens for referral to outside labs including packaging and paperwork.
• Performs all patient specimen collections (venipuncture, capillary collection, etc.).
• Ensures specimen requirements are met and maintains specimen integrity.
• Communicates effectively with customers, patients, and colleagues.
• Operates the lab computer system to document specimen data and orders.
• Performs additional duties as assigned (stand-by, inventory, cross-training).
• Completes performance evaluations and competency assessments timely.
