Tasks include collecting and receiving samples for testing in the laboratory, verifying proper patient preparation, sample collection, and sampling transport requirements. This role also performs laboratory support functions as applicable and has daily interaction with patients, requiring a sense of ownership and attention to detail.## **Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:**Collects and receives samples for testing into the laboratory. Verifies proper patient preparation sample collection and sample transport requirements. Maintains properly stocked supplies on phlebotomy cart or tray and supply room. Participates in quality improvement activities as it relates to phlebotomy, processing and transportation of samples. Performs basic clerical duties as needed. Other duties as assigned.
