Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks a dependable phlebotomist to join our front-line clinical team. You will perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, collect specimens, and ensure proper processing and labeling while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers full-time hours (8am–5pm) with benefits, and an emphasis on patient care within a collaborative laboratory operations environment. Excellent communication and data entry skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
