Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Marietta, GA.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm depending on travel and work location with rotating Saturdays working 8:00am-12:00pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other special studies.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfort working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Minimum age 21 years.

Float Incentive

Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

Phlebotomy Incentive Plan

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
