Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled blood collections, provide excellent patient service, and support data entry and billing processes.

Opportunities for growth within Labcorp are available as you contribute to quality diagnostics. The role requires flexibility with a variable schedule (early mornings, 6:00 AM start), and may involve travel to other sites.

• Maintain patient and specimen logs and travel to additional sites as needed.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative duties as necessary.

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Work Schedule:

Variable Schedule (8 hours a day) Monday-Friday 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Saturday Rotation 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• At least 21 years of age.
• Reliable transportation

PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
