Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Nevada, covering Las Vegas, Henderson and surrounding areas. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, and travel between sites with a flexible schedule.

Minimum requirements include a Nevada laboratory assistant license; preferred are phlebotomy certification or 2+ years of experience and bilingual English/Spanish. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also expected.

Qualifications

• Nevada state issued laboratory assistant license is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Nevada to cover Las Vegas, Henderson and surrounding areas.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday hours will vary between 6:00 am to 7:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Bilingual in English/Spanish

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a lab assistant license filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay Range:

$17.75 - $27.69 per hour

Float Differential:

Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
