Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team for coverage at medical clinics in and around the Denver Metro area, CO. 80211. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 7:00am–7:00pm shifts and additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities include blood collection, handling specimens, data entry, billing, and travel to multiple sites while delivering excellent patient service. A phlebotomy certification and driving eligibility are preferred.

• 9 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist.

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Work Schedule: Hours are Monday - Friday, and vary from 7:00am - 7:00pm, additional hours/days may be requested in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 9 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Coverage for Denver Metro - Lone Tree, Centennial, Aurora, Louisville & surrounding areas
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

*QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM * : Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
