Actalent in Flagstaff is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service center in a clinic setting. You will perform venipuncture, collect and label specimens, enter data into the lab information system, and prepare samples for analytical testing while maintaining quality and patient care.

This contract-to-hire role offers daytime shifts Monday through Friday, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork within a busy outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prior phlebotomy experience required; donor, plasma, and medical assistant phlebotomy experience do not qualify.
• Proficiency in blood draws and specimen collection in a clinical or laboratory setting.
• Experience with specimen processing, including preparation and handling for analytical testing.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and safely while providing attentive patient care.
• Comfort working as part of a team and collaborating with other phlebotomists and clinic staff.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow detailed laboratory protocols and pre‑ and post‑analytical procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter data into a laboratory information system.

• Work collaboratively within a team of phlebotomists and clinic staff to support efficient patient flow and high‑quality patient care.
• Provide professional and courteous patient care, explaining procedures and helping patients feel comfortable during specimen collection.

• Client prefers candidates who are not former employees for this project; rehires may be considered if they left more than 6 months ago on good terms, subject to an HR rehire check.

Work Environment

This position is based in a Flagstaff patient service center (PSC) located in a clinic setting, working alongside a team of phlebotomists. The schedule consists of Monday through Friday rotating 8‑hour shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You will work with standard phlebotomy and laboratory equipment, handle biological specimens, and operate within a busy outpatient environment focused on patient care and efficient specimen processing. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flagstaff, AZ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
