Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per procedures.
• Centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, and decontaminate as required.
• Explain venipuncture processes clearly to patients; ensure accurate labeling and test requisitions.
