Job summary

ImpactLife is seeking a Collection Specialist Driver to support donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy. You will drive large donor center vehicles, transport supplies, and assist with setup/teardown of collection operations.

The role includes donor care during donation, shift variation across days, evenings, and weekends, and compliance with SOPs, DOT requirements, and safety standards. Training may be required away from home for up to two weeks.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to work with the public in a donor services setting.
• Stable work history is preferred.
• Must follow standard operating procedures.
• Willing to work days, evenings, weekends.
• Able to train away from home for up to two weeks.
• Comfort driving large vehicles (box-trucks, tractor-trailers).
• Comfort driving in varied weather conditions.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Hold or obtain DOT Medical Certification Physical card.
• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive large donor center vehicles to transport supplies and team members.
• Set up and tear down collection operations and restock supplies.
• Register and screen donors, perform basic phlebotomy as part of the process.
• Provide donor care during the donation process.
• Work 30–39 hours per week with varied shifts including weekends.

Job description

As part of the Donor Services Phlebotomy team, our Collection Specialist Drivers conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy as well as providing donor care during the donation process. The Collection Specialist Driver is responsible for driving large blood center vehicles to transport blood drive supplies and Donor Services team members, the set-up and tear down of the collection operation, and restocking of supplies.

This is a Full Time/30+ position working 30-39 hours per week and requires the ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
