Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a part-time phlebotomist for the Springfield, VA area. The role supports Sonic Healthcare USA and delivers patient-centered venipuncture services with attention to safety and accuracy.

You will collect specimens, prepare them for testing, and ensure proper labeling and order entry while complying with PHI privacy and quality standards. The schedule is 20 hours/week on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
