Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking an entry- to mid-level phlebotomy support role at our fixed-site donor centers in Wisconsin. Paid training provided; prior phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.

You will work with a team to welcome donors, ensure safety, and collect lifesaving blood donations for hospitals. Competitive pay and benefits are offered. Flexibility with shifts and locations within Green Bay/our network.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting.
• A valid driver’s license with good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and long hours.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Take the time to personally connect with donors - listen to their stories and help them understand how impactful their donation is.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment so our volunteer donors feel comfortable coming back.
• Be detailed oriented all day, every day to ensure the blood you collect meets goals and regulatory requirements.
