Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist to support patient specimen collection in Tooele, UT. The role requires 6 months of venipuncture experience, geriatric experience, and a valid phlebotomy certification.

Schedule is 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a projected 3-month contract and potential for permanent placement. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and ensuring proper handling and transport of samples, while adhering to procedures and regulatory

Qualifications

  • Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by the employing state.
  • Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood draws and venipuncture with standard collection techniques.
  • Label, centrifuge, and properly store specimens according to procedures.
  • Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
  • Match requisitions to specimens and ensure correct labeling.
  • Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
  • Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend department trainings.
  • Answer inquiries and relay results as needed.
