Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Experience handling patients of all ages.
• Proficient in performing blood draws, labeling specimens and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimen tubes and prepare for transport.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures.
