Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work full days in Central Testing at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.

You will perform patient phlebotomy with a focus on customer service, collect and process specimens, and handle registration and data entry. This role requires phlebotomy licensure/certification as applicable and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy course preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
• Register and enter test data accurately.
• Monitor supply levels and maintain phlebotomy supplies.
