Job summary

Labcorp in Phenix City, AL is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient records in a patient-service setting.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with potential Saturdays, and varies by site. We value exceptional customer service, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently or with a team. PST incentive plan bonuses may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with phlebotomy training or certification.
• 2+ years experience as a phlebotomist preferred; color-blindness test passage required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, tests, and other analyses as required.
• Enter patient data accurately and process billing information as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to patients; travel to additional sites when needed.
