Atrium Health is hiring a Phlebotomist for the Rome Family Medicine laboratory in Georgia. The position is full-time with a 37-hour week, primarily 0830-1730, with coverage needs noted. The role involves blood collection, processing paperwork, and maintaining lab quality.

Schedule Details/Additional Information

Monday through Friday lab is open from 0800-1700, Fridays 0800-1300. Total of 37 hours scheduled each week. We need coverage 0830-1730.

Pay Range

$19.80 - $29.70

The Phlebotomist receives orders for laboratory testing, collects blood from patients of any age or status and issues appropriate paperwork to the Advocate laboratory or outside for processing. He/she maintains the laboratory in an efficient working state and performs lab procedures while ensuring quality control.

The Qualified Candidate Will Possess The Following

• Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a formal training program in Phlebotomy
• Completion of departmental clinical evaluation checklist
• Licensure or Certification
• PBT (ASCP) or equivalent national certification required
• Experience
• At least one year experience in a lab or physician's office required
