Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Savannah, GA. The role involves performing venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages, collecting specimens for various tests, and ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.

This is a casual, on-site position with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays. Ideal candidates hold a phlebotomy certification or completed training, or have 3+ months of phlebotomy experience, with a strong focus on customer service

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Savannah, GA.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday anywhere between the hour of 7:00am - 6:00pm with rotating Saturdays, hours may vary as this is a casual position.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
