Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to provide venipuncture and patient-care services on weekdays mornings.

You will collect and prepare non-blood specimens, ensure proper labeling and test orders, and support safety and quality control in a busy lab environment. The role requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy training/experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy training or experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and patient-focused care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting and handle PHI with confidentiality.
• Basic computer and data entry proficiency; available Monday–Friday mornings.

Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 7am-11am
Part-time: Not Benefits Eligible

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Bonus points if you've got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
