Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist I for 1st shift in Avon, CT. You will collect quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced, patient-facing role.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy skills, data entry ability, and flexibility to work Monday–Friday with occasional weekends. This is a 5-month contract with onsite work and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• PHLEBOTOMY skills including pediatric and geriatric experience.

Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift

Location: Avon, CT

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 5 months
• Pay Rate: $17.00–$21.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 1st Shift — Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Alternating Saturdays 7:00 AM–12:00 PM (Eastern)

Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.

Key Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Required Skills

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• One (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
